Did you know it's Religious Freedom Day?

I had no idea it was Religious Freedom Day. I knew we got off work for some reason, but had no idea it had to do with this. Damn, I forgot to by my wife a Religious Freedom Day gift.

Apparantly, in one of his fits of pandering, Clinton declared it but I don't think he had Dobson in mind. Focus on the Family and the rest of the gang encourage all American public schools to sit down and figure out just how far they can push the law to bring God into classrooms. If there is anyone I trust to deliver an accurate accounting of how far you can push things in public schools, its the honest folks at Focus on the Family.

As a bonus, it affords an opportunity to drive home again the point that is a country founded by Christians for Christians.

So, cook yourself some traditional Religious Freedom Day pudding and sit with friends in family giving thanks for Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton, the sole inventors of all concepts of freedom.

Pardon my naivete, but wasn't this country settled by Anglo-Saxons partially to find religious freedom?

Isn't seperation of church and state one of the founding priciples?

I have grown weary of those who espouse this attitude: Failure to support the current prez or ANY of his policies = bad person = non-Christian. I heard an apt title for such one....christo-fascists.
