The continued assault on the Establishment Clause

In the continued effort to re-write the Constitution and excise the Establishment Clause, the theocrats are now pushing the “Constitution Restoration Act”. The bill number is HR 1070 and you can find it at The act proves that not only do theocrats want to create a theocratic constitution, they are also the all-time champions of coming up with ironic titles of bills.

The pertinent part of the bill, says:

I. Sec. 1260.
Matters not reviewable
`Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, the Supreme Court shall not have jurisdiction to review, by appeal, writ of certiorari, or otherwise, any matter to the extent that relief is sought against an entity of Federal, State, or local government, or against an officer or agent of Federal, State, or local government (whether or not acting in official or personal capacity), concerning that entity's, officer's, or agent's acknowledgment of God as the sovereign source of law, liberty, or government.'.

In short, the Supreme Court cannot consider Establishment Clause cases. I have a sneaking suspicion this is a wee bit unconstitutional, but I don’t remember Marbury v. Madison too well.

You must read this act in conjunction with PERA (HR 2679), which I ranted about below. PERA stops the policing of the Establishment Clause and CRA stops prosecution of the offenders (to paraphrase Law and Order). The only thing left is some white-out and a trip to the National Archives.

I know this is really boring shit, but that is what they are counting on. The theocrats have mastered the art of getting their followers to click the “send this letter to your congressman” button. The virulently militant and surprisingly large Vision America is among them. Thankfully, our congressmen are beginning to realize that if the extent of someone's passion is to click their mouse, they probably won't follow the voting record. The CRA has only been introduced, whereas PERA has passed the House.

This is all part of the WAR ON CHRISTIANITY that is being pushed. More than anything it shows that the Center for Reclaiming America for Christ and their co-horts (like Vision America, FRC, FOF, etc.) are really, honestly, and truly trying to create a new and different country. They aren’t reclaiming America, they are claiming America, like an invader, or a virus.

Like HIV on a T-cell, they are trying to break down our body politic's defenses to introduce the wheezing pneumonia of a theocratic government.

It sure sounds like there are powerful people that would like nothing more than to turn this country into one huge Kingdumb Hell. This would take away all our freedoms. To start, pop cultute would be killed. You would have 225 songs to listen to, and no more. TV would be all JW. Commerce as we know it would die out, and no one would be able to create any values to society. People would be expected to live in near-poverty, much worse than now. There would be no upper class--or even a middle class. Holidays and birthdays--indeed any occasion for joy and festivities would all be banned. You couldn't go into a store without having to listen to those 225 pieces of Kingdom shit. There would be aisle stacks of service bags and call books in every store, but no fun items. All radio and TV, and all of the press, would be given to the Watchtower Society. Wars would be called off in this country, but people would still attack this country without fear of retaliation. In turn, this would allow the Jihadists to usurp the whole country. I don't know how much worse they are, but I know that the Jehovah's Witnesses--or, make that Jehovah's WitLesses--are setting this country up for collapse.
